The Umpire Plates at the Cosmic Baseball Association

Bad Umpires
The only umpire to be banned for throwing games was Dick Higham who became an umpire in 1882 after his playing career ended. Higham rigged games with his umpiring calls so that gamblers would benefit.

An argument could be made that an umpire determined the outcome of the 1985 World Series. Don Denkinger's blown call at firstbase during the 6th game is easily the most memorable event of that World Series.
