The Topic of Pisces

The brilliant misunderstanding was
that anyone ever thought
that all time and energy spent
was spent fishing for a piece of wide-mouth bass?
I am a shark
born a shark
raised a shark
am pure shark.
Ever have a shark between your legs?
The bleeding is emotional.
The blood doesn't stain the waters
the waters stay blue
dark and fanatical.
The deep keeps its own
who am I to let the sunshine in?
& who are you, my darling red herring?
